Posted on

Just before 6am this morning the 1936 built tug Charlight left Queenborough arriving at South Dock Marina at 1130am. Charlight is here to collect the the houseboat tug SAMMY from Greenland Dock towing her to drydock at Chatham.     She is due to leave tomorrow morning at 2am.

SAMMY was built in Florida in 1955 by Smith Shipyard as ST 2200 , she later became WHISKY WARRIOR and then PELHAM POINT with a 600bhp engine.  The engine has since been removed to allow living space
